About Commons Kochi
Commons is a small performance space on 5th Cross Road in Panampilly Nagar, listed at the premises of Aum-I Artistes opposite the Lil America restaurant. It appears in Kochi's event listings as a room for intimate stand-up shows, and it is one of the places to catch comedy performed in Malayalam rather than English or Hindi. Mahahadevan Live, an hour of crowd-work comedy in Malayalam by Mahadevan A R, was listed here on 11 October and again on Sunday 25 October 2026 at 5:30 pm, with tickets at ₹499. Shows are listed as 16+ with photo ID required. The surrounding cross roads are full of cafés and restaurants, so it is easy to build an evening around a show.
