Things to do in Panampilly Nagar

Panampilly Nagar began in 1978 as a planned residential colony and is now Kochi's café and restaurant neighbourhood, with shops and offices along its Main Avenue and numbered cross roads. Small performance and workshop spaces operate here: Commons on 5th Cross Road hosts Malayalam and English stand-up, and Loa Cafe on 1st Cross Road runs art and craft workshops most weekends. The tree-lined walkway is used by joggers in the mornings, and Rotary Bal Bhavan hosts community and charity events. Parking on the cross roads is limited on weekend evenings, so an auto from Kadavanthra metro station is the simpler way in.
