Art Exhibitions & Events in Kochi
3 events coming up across Kochi — mostly art (3).
Kochi's standing in Indian art rests on the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, first held in 2012. No edition runs in 2026–27: the sixth closed on 31 March 2026 and the seventh, curated by Kader Attia, is announced for 2027–28. Art continues between editions. The Durbar Hall Art Centre in Ernakulam, run by the Kerala Lalithakala Akademi, changes its exhibitions every few weeks, and the Kerala Museum at Pathadipalam has a Gallery of Contemporary Indian Art and regular talks. In Fort Kochi, the Kochi Biennale Foundation holds programmes at Pepper House, with artist presentations listed for 6 and 13 November 2026, and small galleries and café walls in Fort Kochi and Mattancherry show local and visiting artists. Workshops in painting, pottery and printmaking are listed most weekends.
