Loa Cafe, which styles itself the Slow Burn Social Lounge, is a café on 1st Cross Road in Panampilly Nagar that doubles as one of the busiest workshop addresses in Kochi's listings. On a single October 2026 weekend its programme included encaustic painting, coil pottery, Japanese shibori dyeing, Daruma doll painting, perfume-making, yarn mandalas, a Lego art lab and a Balinese offering-making session, with several workshops running back to back through the afternoon. A session billed as Rage Therapy has participants break ceramic pots and repair them using the kintsugi method. Most workshops are short, beginner-friendly and sold per person with materials provided, which makes the café a useful option for small groups, families and solo visitors.
