Tech Meetups & Hackathons in Kochi

Kochi's tech calendar follows its IT parks. Infopark in Kakkanad, set up by the state in 2004, counted 582 companies and about 72,000 employees in 2025, with SmartCity Kochi next door, and most developer meetups, product talks and hackathons happen in company auditoria and co-working spaces there. The Kerala Startup Mission's campus in Kalamassery hosts demo days, founder sessions and maker events, and the engineering campuses, CUSAT in Kalamassery and Rajagiri in Kakkanad among them, run technical festivals. Community groups such as GDG Cochin and GDG Cloud Kochi organise regular sessions. Meetups are usually free with registration, and campus buildings ask for photo ID. Kakkanad has no metro station yet; use the Water Metro from Vyttila or allow for evening traffic.
