The next big race is the Kochi Spice Coast Marathon on Sunday 25 October 2026, organised by the Soles of Cochin running club, with a full marathon of 42.195 km, a half marathon and a non-competitive 5K fun run on a course that takes in the heritage streets, the coast and the backwaters. The Federal Bank Kochi Marathon, promoted by CleoSportz, has announced its fifth edition for 2027; recent editions were run in February, and the race date had not been posted on the official site when this page was written. Its format is a marathon, half marathon, 10 km and a 3 km Green Run, with a published schedule that flags off the marathon at 4 am and a bib expo at the Marine Drive ground. Nammude Run Kochi 2027 is listed for Sunday 28 February 2027 from Durbar Hall Ground at 5:30 am, with 10 km and 5 km timed runs, a 3 km walkathon and short fun runs. The Cochin Carnival in December adds a cycle race and fun runs in Fort Kochi.
