Things to do in Ernakulam North

Ernakulam North covers the stretch of Banerji Road around Ernakulam Town railway station, Kacheripady and the Town Hall. The Ernakulam Town Hall, owned by the Kochi Corporation, is one of the city's most used public halls for cultural programmes, book releases, exhibitions, public meetings and award functions. Offices of newspapers, trade bodies and associations cluster here, so the area hosts many talks, seminars and small trade shows in hotel halls. Town Hall metro station is a short walk from the hall, and the North railway station handles many of the trains that skip Ernakulam Junction. Evening traffic on Banerji Road is heavy; the metro is quicker.
