Things to do in Infopark & SmartCity

Infopark, set up by the Government of Kerala in 2004, is the state-run technology campus at the eastern end of Kakkanad, with SmartCity Kochi next to it. Its two phases cover more than 260 acres, and in 2025 the park counted 582 companies and about 72,000 employees. That workforce makes it the city's centre for developer meetups, startup pitch days, product workshops, corporate sports leagues and food-truck evenings, many of them held in company auditoria and the park's common halls. Entry to some buildings needs prior registration and ID. KMRL runs air-conditioned feeder buses between the Kakkanad Water Metro terminal and the campus.
